Gilb’R, born Gilbert Cohen, is a highly influential French DJ, producer, and label owner from Paris. Emerging in the early 1990s, he started his career as a radio host on the legendary Radio Nova, where his eclectic taste and boundary-pushing selections won him a devoted following among fans and peers alike. Gilb’R founded the visionary electronic label Versatile Records in 1996, pioneering a sound that blends house, techno, jazz, disco, and experimental music, and nurturing key artists such as I:Cube, Joakim, and Zombie Zombie.

As a producer and DJ, Gilb’R is celebrated for his fearless exploration of diverse genres, resulting in a fluid and unpredictable sonic identity that consistently surprises and challenges audiences.
