Born Obaro Ejimiwe in London, Ghostpoet emerged as a distinct voice in the UK music scene, blending spoken word, electronic, and alternative influences into his signature sound. His debut album, *Peanut Butter Blues & Melancholy Jam* (2011), earned a Mercury Prize nomination and introduced audiences to his introspective lyricism, languid vocal delivery, and inventive production style.
