Georgia

Georgia is a visual artist from Indonesia whose work explores the interplay between memory, identity, and the changing landscapes of urban Southeast Asia. Born and raised in Jakarta, Georgia was deeply influenced by the city’s vibrant culture and rapid modernization, which serve as recurring themes in her mixed-media paintings and installations. After studying fine arts at Institut Teknologi Bandung, she developed a practice rooted in material experimentation, combining traditional Indonesian crafts such as batik and weaving with contemporary techniques.
