Geminis

Geminis is a boundary-pushing artist collective formed by multidisciplinary siblings Emma and Lucas Ferreira, whose collaborative work fuses painting, digital media, and performance art to explore the dualities of identity and human experience. Emerging from São Paulo’s vibrant underground art scene in 2018, Geminis quickly garnered attention for their immersive installations that blur the lines between reality and dream, inviting audiences into lush, color-saturated worlds teeming with symbolic imagery. Drawing inspiration from Brazilian mythology, urban life, and their own twin bond, their work is characterized by poetic narratives and bold, gestural forms.

Since their debut solo exhibition “Twinspeak” at Galeria Pulsar in 2019, Geminis has exhibited internationally in venues including the Museum of Contemporary Art in Buenos Aires and The Armory Show in New York. Through an ever-evolving practice, Geminis continues to challenge conventions, using art as a medium for dialogue on transformation, belonging, and the search for unity amid multiplicity.
