Gefra

Gefra is an emerging contemporary artist whose work spans painting, digital media, and installation art. Born in 1997 in Porto Alegre, Brazil, Gefra’s creative journey began in childhood, inspired by the vibrant colors and textures of urban street art in their hometown. After studying fine arts at the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul, Gefra developed a unique visual language distinguished by abstract forms, layered symbolism, and a dynamic interplay between vivid color and negative space.

Their work explores themes of memory, identity, and transformation, often referencing both personal and collective narratives. Gefra’s art invites viewers to linger in the spaces between chaos and order, drawing them into immersive sensory experiences.
