Førehand is a conceptual art duo formed by Scandinavian artists Elin Møller and Jakob Eide, whose collaborative practice explores the intersection of memory, language, and digital culture. First joining forces in Copenhagen in 2018, the pair quickly gained recognition for their poetic installations and innovative use of technology, blending analog techniques with code-driven processes. Their work draws inspiration from regional folklore, speculative fiction, and the aesthetics of glitch, often inviting viewers to participate in interactive experiences that question the boundaries between author and audience.
Førehand’s exhibitions have appeared in major European contemporary art spaces including Kunsthal Charlottenborg, ARoS Aarhus Art Museum, and C/O Berlin, and their projects have been featured in international publications such as Frieze and Artforum. Through a diverse body of work ranging from immersive soundscapes to collaborative performance, Førehand continues to probe the shifting terrain of collective imagination and the evolving role of the artist in a networked world.
