Ethan Mitchell

Ethan Mitchell is a contemporary visual artist known for his innovative approach to mixed media and his introspective exploration of memory and identity. Born in 1989 in Portland, Oregon, he developed an early fascination with urban landscapes and the nuanced interplay between human presence and architectural space. After earning his BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2011, Mitchell's work began to appear in group exhibitions across the United States, quickly earning him recognition for his evocative compositions that combine photography, painting, and found objects.
