Ells

Ells is a multidisciplinary artist whose dynamic practice spans painting, digital art, and sculpture, exploring the fluid intersections between memory, identity, and environment. Born and raised in Toronto, Ells draws inspiration from urban landscapes, everyday rituals, and fleeting emotional states, translating these experiences into vivid, often abstract works characterized by energetic mark-making and bold color palettes. After studying Visual Arts at OCAD University, Ells exhibited widely across Canada, earning acclaim for their evocative installations and collaborations with local musicians and writers.

Their work frequently investigates the tension between personal narrative and collective experience, inviting viewers to engage in introspection and dialogue. Currently based in Montreal, Ells continues to challenge conventions, experimenting with new media and immersive formats that blur the boundaries between art, technology, and community engagement.
