Elliot Moriarty

Elliot Moriarty is a multidisciplinary artist whose evocative works fuse elements of expressionism, abstract geometry, and experimental media. Born in Dublin, Ireland, in 1989, Moriarty grew up surrounded by the city’s vibrant music and literary scenes, which fueled an early fascination with storytelling and emotional resonance. He graduated from the National College of Art and Design and has since exhibited internationally, from London to Berlin to New York.

Moriarty's practice spans painting, sculpture, sound installations, and immersive digital environments, exploring perceptions of memory, identity, and the fluidity of consciousness. Drawing inspiration from urban textures, shifting light, and poetic fragments, his artworks layer tactile surfaces and gestural marks with subtle allusions to literature and music. Relentlessly experimental, Moriarty often collaborates with writers, choreographers, and technologists, constantly pushing the boundaries of his materials and conceptual framework.

His work is held in several public and private collections, and he has participated in residencies that emphasize cross-disciplinary innovation. Moriarty currently lives and works between Dublin and Berlin, continuing to investigate the intersections of form, narrative, and sensory experience.
