ek:) is a contemporary artist whose multidisciplinary practice explores the interplay between memory, identity, and the built environment. Drawing from experiences growing up between urban and rural spaces, ek:) creates works that blur boundaries between painting, textile, installation, and digital media. Their use of vibrant color, layered textures, and playful symbolism invites viewers to navigate personal and collective histories while celebrating chaos and introspection. ek:) holds a BFA in Studio Art and has exhibited in group and solo shows across North America and Europe.

In addition to their studio practice, ek:) frequently collaborates with grassroots organizations on arts education initiatives, striving to make creative expression accessible to diverse communities. Their work has been featured in several art publications and is held in both private and public collections. Currently, ek:) lives and works in Toronto, where they continue to expand their visual language and challenge conventional narratives through experimentation and collaboration.
