E.Feld

E.Feld is a contemporary visual artist whose work explores the intersection of memory, language, and abstraction. Born in 1988 in Vilnius, Lithuania, Feld spent formative years in both Eastern Europe and the United States, experiences that inform the layered narratives present in their paintings, mixed media installations, and experimental prints. Feld holds an MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and has exhibited widely across Europe and North America, including recent solo shows at the Kunsthaus Zurich and the Contemporary Arts Center in Cincinnati.

Employing tactile materials and gestural mark-making, Feld investigates the ways personal and collective histories are encoded and eroded over time. Their practice is marked by a restless inquiry into the boundaries of visual representation, often weaving in fragments of text, archival images, and everyday objects. Feld's distinctive voice has earned recognition through numerous awards, including the Vilnius Art Prize, and their works are featured in several public and private collections.

E.Feld currently lives and works in Berlin, where they continue to engage with themes of displacement, belonging, and the mutable nature of identity through an ever-evolving artistic language.
