Edoardo Marvaso

Edoardo Marvaso is a contemporary artist based in Spain, whose practice spans painting, sculpture, and multimedia installations. Born in 1988, Marvaso developed his artistic sensibilities amidst the vibrant cultural milieu of Barcelona, where he attended the Escola Massana Centre d’Art i Disseny. Drawing on influences ranging from Spanish abstraction to Mediterranean folklore, his work explores themes of memory, transformation, and the interplay between tradition and modernity.

Marvaso’s haunting, layered compositions combine vivid pigments and organic materials, inviting viewers into immersive worlds that blend the real with the imagined. Since his debut solo exhibition in 2013, his works have been showcased in notable galleries across Europe, including Madrid, Paris, and Berlin, and have attracted the attention of collectors and critics alike for their emotive power and experimental techniques.
