DJ T., born Thomas Koch in Düsseldorf, Germany, is a pioneering figure in the electronic music landscape, renowned for his influential role as a DJ, producer, and key industry tastemaker. Cutting his teeth amidst Frankfurt's burgeoning club scene in the late 1980s, DJ T.

channeled his passion for soulful house and deep techno into every aspect of his creative life. In 1999, he co-founded the seminal music magazine Groove, which rapidly became a defining platform for electronic music journalism in Germany and beyond. Not content with influencing taste from the page alone, DJ T.

went on to co-establish the legendary club Monza and, most pivotally, helped launch Get Physical Music in 2002—a label now synonymous with cutting-edge house and techno, propelling the careers of artists like M.A.N.

D.Y., Booka Shade, and himself.

As a producer, DJ T. has released a string of acclaimed EPs and albums, with his deft blend of funk-infused grooves and stripped-back rhythms earning him respect on dancefloors from Berlin to Ibiza.
