Hailing from the Yugambeh and Bidjara nations, DJ PGZ (Paul Gorrie) is a Naarm-based DJ, producer, and composer celebrated for his fierce dancefloor energy and deep commitment to uplifting Indigenous voices in the Australian music scene. A prominent fixture in independent music spaces, PGZ’s repertoire spans club-ready bass music, hip hop, and experimental electronica, blending cutting-edge production with rich, rhythmic storytelling. PGZ has shared stages with artists such as Soju Gang, KAIIT, and Soichi Terada, and has graced major festivals including Meredith Music Festival, Vivid LIVE, and DARK MOFO.

As the founder of Club Mince, a platform dedicated to Indigenous and queer artists, he fosters safe, inclusive spaces on and off the stage. An acclaimed producer, PGZ’s original releases and remixes showcase innovative sound design and a signature sense of euphoria rooted in community and culture. Beyond performing, he is also a sought-after curator, working with events and programs like YIRRAMBOI and the Melbourne International Film Festival to deliver authentic, transformative musical experiences.
