Dio Garcia

Dio Garcia is a contemporary visual artist whose work traverses the boundaries between abstraction and figuration, employing a broad range of media including painting, drawing, and sculpture. Born in Havana, Cuba, in 1986, Garcia was shaped by the vibrant artistic traditions and tumultuous histories of his home city, ultimately developing a practice that explores themes of migration, memory, and identity.
