Deetron is a Swiss DJ and producer whose career spans over two decades, renowned for his deeply musical approach to techno and house. Hailing from Bern, Switzerland, he began his journey in the early 1990s as a hip-hop DJ before being drawn into the burgeoning world of underground dance music. Deetron is recognized for his hybrid DJ sets which combine vinyl, digital, and three-deck mixing, a testament to his technical prowess and encyclopedic knowledge of music.

He first established himself internationally with a series of esteemed releases on labels such as Music Man, Intec, and Green. His productions, marked by melodic synth work and Detroit-inspired rhythms, quickly attracted widespread DJ support. Deetron’s debut album, **Twisted** (2006), showcased his versatility across techno, house, and electro, and was followed by the widely acclaimed **Music Over Matter** (2013), which featured vocal collaborations with artists like Ben Westbeech, Ripperton, and Seth Troxler.

He continued to innovate with his **DJ-Kicks** mix compilation in 2018, further cementing his reputation for blending genres and moods seamlessly.
