Dave Angel is a pioneering British electronic music producer and DJ, born in London in 1966. Emerging from the vibrant UK dance scene of the early 1990s, he is renowned for his innovative contributions to techno and house music, blending soulful grooves with futuristic elements. Deeply influenced by jazz, funk, and Detroit techno, Angel quickly earned international respect with releases on labels such as R&S Records, Rotation—his own influential imprint—and React.

His 1992 remix of Eurythmics’ “Sweet Dreams” caught widespread attention, paving the way for a prolific recording and touring career. As a DJ, Angel became celebrated for energetic sets at iconic clubs and festivals around the world, including gigs at Tresor, The End, and Awakenings. He played a pivotal role in shaping the UK techno sound, mentoring new talent and consistently pushing the boundaries of electronic music production.
