Dante Scaglione

Dante Scaglione is a contemporary visual artist known for his evocative fusion of painting, mixed media, and digital manipulation. Born in São Paulo, Brazil, in 1985, Scaglione developed an early fascination with both urban street art and classical techniques, leading him to experiment with graffiti before formally studying fine arts at the University of São Paulo. His work often explores themes of memory, identity, and the passage of time, blending vibrant colors, intricate textures, and fragmented imagery to reflect the complexities of modern life.

Scaglione’s pieces have been exhibited in prominent galleries across South America, North America, and Europe, garnering critical acclaim for their emotional depth and innovative use of materials. Inspired by the intersection between tradition and innovation, he continues to push artistic boundaries, collaborating with musicians, writers, and filmmakers on interdisciplinary projects that challenge conventional modes of expression. Scaglione lives and works in Berlin, where he is currently developing a new series focused on the impact of digital culture on personal and collective histories.
