Cosmo (KR)

Cosmo (KR) is a contemporary visual artist from South Korea known for his innovative fusion of digital media, urban aesthetics, and traditional Korean influences. Born in Seoul in 1991, Cosmo developed a passion for visual storytelling at a young age, drawing inspiration from the vibrant street culture and dynamic cityscapes of his hometown. After studying Fine Arts at Hongik University, he began exhibiting a unique body of work that blends graffiti-inspired motifs, neon color palettes, and subtle references to hanbok textiles and Korean folklore.

Cosmo’s art explores the intersections of identity, urbanization, and technology in modern Korea, often using immersive installations and digital projections to engage viewers in multisensory experiences. Since his debut solo exhibition in 2018, Cosmo has participated in numerous group shows across Asia and Europe, and his work has been featured at major venues such as Art Busan and the Seoul Museum of Art. As a rising figure in South Korea’s new media art scene, Cosmo (KR) continues to challenge conventions and expand the boundaries of contemporary artistic expression.
