Cosmo, born Marco Jacopo Bianchi in Ivrea, Italy, in 1982, is a multifaceted artist whose work as a singer-songwriter, producer, and DJ has helped redefine the landscape of Italian electronic and pop music. Drawing from a background as a philosophy teacher, Cosmo emerged in the early 2010s with a distinctive approach that melds the energy of Italo disco, the lyricism of contemporary indie music, and an experimental edge gleaned from his passion for club culture. Formerly a member of the psych-pop band Drink To Me, he launched his solo career with the acclaimed album “Disordine” in 2013, followed by the breakthrough “L’ultima festa” in 2016, which garnered national attention for its infectious rhythms and poetic storytelling.
