Coco Cobra is an emerging contemporary artist from China whose multidisciplinary practice intertwines elements of performance, installation, and digital media. Born in Guangzhou in the late 1990s, Coco Cobra studied at the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing, where they developed a distinctive visual language characterized by bold color, symbolic motifs, and playful explorations of identity, technology, and transformation. Influenced by both traditional Chinese folklore and the frenetic energy of urban subcultures, their work often features serpentine forms and camouflage patterns as recurring themes, reflecting the fluidity and adaptability that shape their generation’s experience.
