Coàgul is the artistic alias of Marc O’Callaghan, a Barcelona-based musician, performer, and visual artist known for his explorations into occultism, esotericism, and symbolism through sound and imagery. Emerging from the vibrant underground scene of Spain in the early 2010s, Coàgul draws heavily upon the aesthetics and traditions of industrial and post-punk music, blending ritualistic rhythms with atmospheric soundscapes and spoken-word incantations. His work, often minimalist and raw, is imbued with a deep philosophical inquiry into the mysteries of existence, spirituality, and transformation.
