Chad Harrison is a contemporary multidisciplinary artist whose work explores the interplay between memory, environment, and identity. Born in 1985 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Harrison developed an early fascination with visual storytelling and experimented with various mediums, including painting, sculpture, and digital installations. After earning his BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, he continued his studies with an MFA at Yale University, where he deepened his exploration of conceptual and interactive art forms.
Harrison's art frequently incorporates found materials and personal artifacts, using these elements to evoke nostalgia and prompt viewers to reflect on their own histories. His work has been exhibited in solo and group shows at galleries across the United States and internationally, including exhibitions in Berlin, Tokyo, and London. Harrison is also dedicated to community engagement, often leading workshops and participating in public art projects to foster dialogue around belonging and cultural memory.
