Cedric Scheibel

Cedric Scheibel is a multidisciplinary artist whose work explores the intersections of technology, perception, and the natural environment. Born in 1986 in Germany, Scheibel developed an early fascination with both digital processes and organic forms, leading him to blend traditional techniques with innovative digital practices in his art. After studying at the Bauhaus University in Weimar, he established a practice that spans installation, printmaking, generative systems, and interactive design.

Scheibel’s installations often invite viewers to reconsider their relationship with nature in an increasingly virtual world, prompting reflection on issues of sustainability, memory, and presence. His work has been exhibited across Europe and featured in numerous international festivals, earning recognition for its conceptual rigor and poetic sensibility. Scheibel continues to push the boundaries of visual art by collaborating with scientists, musicians, and technologists, fostering an experimental approach that challenges conventional definitions of art and experience.

He currently lives and works in Leipzig, Germany.
