Carmen Lisa is an emerging multidisciplinary artist from the Netherlands whose work encompasses painting, mixed media, and installation. Carmen’s artistic journey began in her teenage years, experimenting with found materials and developing an expressive visual language that blends abstraction with subtle figurative elements.

Since her formal studies at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie, her practice has explored themes of transformation and impermanence, often reflecting personal narratives or collective experiences within Dutch society. Carmen Lisa’s works have been shown in group exhibitions across the Netherlands and in select European galleries. Her recent projects delve into sustainable artmaking, incorporating recycled media and natural pigments, resonating with an eco-conscious vision.
