Carlos René

Carlos René is a contemporary artist whose vibrant work explores the intersections of identity, memory, and cultural heritage. Born in Oaxaca, Mexico, René draws inspiration from the rich visual traditions and storytelling customs of his homeland, infusing his pieces with vivid colors, intricate patterns, and layered symbolism. After studying fine arts at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, he developed a multidisciplinary practice encompassing painting, installation, and mixed media.
