CamelPhat

Formed in Liverpool, CamelPhat consists of producers Dave Whelan and Mike Di Scala. Drawing on a diverse array of influences from house, techno, and melodic dance music, the duo began working together in 2004, initially finding success under various aliases before settling on the CamelPhat moniker in 2010. Their innovative production style and knack for memorable hooks quickly garnered attention in the UK and across the global dance music scene.

CamelPhat achieved mainstream recognition in 2017 with their Grammy-nominated track "Cola," a collaboration with Elderbrook that became a club and radio staple, charting internationally and topping dance charts for months. This milestone propelled them into the upper echelon of dance music, leading to residencies in Ibiza, performances at major festivals such as Tomorrowland and Coachella, and collaborations with renowned artists including ARTBAT, Yannis Philippakis of Foals, and Jake Bugg. Their debut album, "Dark Matter," released in 2020, showcased a versatile sound, blending underground sensibilities with accessible songwriting.
