Calyx is the moniker of Larry Cons, an influential drum and bass producer and DJ from London, United Kingdom. Emerging in the late 1990s, Calyx quickly established himself in the UK underground scene with his innovative approach to drum and bass, blending intricate rhythms, cinematic atmospheres, and hard-edged basslines. Initially starting as part of a duo, Calyx soon forged a solo path and cemented his reputation with a string of releases on renowned labels like Moving Shadow, Metalheadz, and Renegade Hardware.
