Breakfake

Breakfake is an experimental music and visual art duo formed in 2021, blending glitch aesthetics, hyperpop influences, and digital surrealism into an immersive multimedia experience. Comprised of producer-visualist Lena Voss and audio deconstructionist Eli Santos, Breakfake emerged from Berlin’s underground scene, channeling the city’s restless energy and restless innovation. Their work dissolves boundaries between sound and sight, remixing internet culture fragments, warped vocals, and disjointed beats into vigorously textured soundscapes.

Breakfake’s live performances, often featuring interactive projections and real-time audio mangling, have made them fixtures at alternative art spaces and digital festivals across Europe. Unafraid to interrogate the blur between authentic and artificial, their projects question perceptions of reality, memory, and technology in the post-truth era. With each release, Breakfake continue to push the limits of genre, medium, and identity, forging new ground in today’s evolving art landscape.
