Bokaric

Bokaric is a contemporary multimedia artist celebrated for their thought-provoking exploration of urban landscapes and human interaction. Drawing on influences ranging from modernist abstraction to street art and digital culture, Bokaric’s work spans painting, installation, and digital mediums. Born in the late 1980s in Zagreb, Croatia, Bokaric moved frequently throughout their childhood, absorbing the diverse visual languages of Eastern and Western Europe.

This nomadic background is reflected in their layered compositions and restless experimentation with form. After studying Fine Arts at the University of Zagreb, Bokaric embarked on a series of residencies across Berlin, London, and New York, where encounters with global art scenes further shaped their creative approach. Known for blending vivid color palettes with unexpected textures, Bokaric frequently integrates found objects and electronic media, inviting viewers to question notions of permanence and impermanence in a fast-changing world.

Their work has been exhibited internationally in solo and group exhibitions including venues in Paris, Vienna, and Los Angeles. With each new body of work, Bokaric continues to challenge boundaries and spark dialogue on the complexities of contemporary life.
