Blondes

Blondes is an electronic music duo from New York City, consisting of Sam Haar and Zach Steinman. Formed in 2010, the pair met while studying at Oberlin College in Ohio and later relocated to Brooklyn, where they became known for their immersive, improvisational live sets and hypnotic, analog-driven sound. Their music blends elements of house, techno, and ambient, with a focus on evolving textures and deep, rhythmic grooves.

Blondes quickly gained attention in the underground electronic scene with a series of EPs and their critically acclaimed self-titled debut album released on RVNG Intl. in 2012. Noted for their exploratory approach to dance music, Blondes have consistently pushed boundaries, incorporating modular synthesis and live hardware manipulation into both their studio recordings and performances.

Over the years, they have continued to refine their sound through subsequent albums and remixes, earning praise for their ability to merge cerebral electronic atmospheres with a propulsive physicality, positioning themselves as key innovators within the American electronic music landscape.
