August Kind

August Kind is a contemporary artist from Germany whose innovative works span painting, sculpture, and multimedia installations. Born in Stuttgart in 1984, Kind developed an early passion for visual arts, studying at the prestigious Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Munich. Their artistic practice is characterized by an exploration of identity, memory, and the nuances of everyday life, often weaving together elements of abstraction and figurative imagery.

Kind’s work has been exhibited widely throughout Europe, including solo exhibitions in Berlin, Hamburg, and Vienna, as well as group shows in Paris and Amsterdam. Throughout their career, Kind has received notable recognition, including the Förderpreis Junge Kunst and a residency at the Villa Romana in Florence.
