Art Department is the acclaimed Canadian electronic music duo comprised of Jonny White and former member Kenny Glasgow, recognized for revolutionizing the global dance music scene with their deep, emotive soundscapes. Originating from Toronto, the project emerged in 2009 and quickly garnered attention for merging elements of house, techno, and indie with an avant-garde sensibility, earning early support from industry heavyweights and labels like Crosstown Rebels. Their breakthrough single, "Without You," became a 2010 anthem and solidified their reputation for compelling, genre-blurring productions and visceral DJ performances.

Art Department’s debut album, "The Drawing Board," earned critical acclaim and propelled them to headline status at international festivals and clubs, while their distinct aesthetic and creativity have seen them remix for acts as diverse as Robyn and Seth Troxler. After Glasgow's departure in 2014, White continued to evolve Art Department as a solo project, further exploring experimental sounds and influences while maintaining the project's legacy as one of dance music’s most consistently innovative forces.
