ANTHEM

ANTHEM is an innovative electronic music duo from Germany, known for their genre-blending soundscapes and emotionally charged performances. Formed in Berlin in 2017 by childhood friends Lukas Heimann and Marie Köhler, ANTHEM quickly gained recognition in the underground club circuit for their energetic live shows and unique fusion of synth-pop, techno, and indie electronic elements. Drawing inspiration from both the pulsating nightlife of Berlin and the serene landscapes of southern Germany, their music explores themes of identity, connection, and transformation.

Their debut EP "Echoes Unraveled" (2019) garnered critical acclaim for its atmospheric production and lyrical depth, leading to appearances at major European festivals such as Melt! and Fusion. ANTHEM’s subsequent releases have continued to push boundaries, incorporating analog hardware, experimental visuals, and collaborative work with visual artists and choreographers.

Their signature style—characterized by pulsating beats, lush synthesizers, and poignant lyrics—has earned them a dedicated international following and solidified their reputation as pioneers within the evolving landscape of German electronic music.
