Ant, one of the driving forces behind the DJ/producer duo Generic People, has been shaping dancefloors since the mid-2000s. Born and raised in Sheffield, UK, Ant cut his teeth in the city’s legendary underground scene, where techno, house, and electro collided with the post-industrial grit of the North. As a resident at local institutions and hosting infamous basement parties, he honed a style characterized by genre-defying, high-energy sets that surprise seasoned ravers and newcomers alike.

Over his career, Ant’s curiosity for new sounds and disregard for purism have fueled collaborations with vocalists, producers, and visual artists.
