Anita B Queen

Anita B Queen is a multidisciplinary artist whose work spans painting, installation, performance, and digital media, exploring themes of identity, transformation, and cultural hybridity. Born in Lagos, Nigeria, and currently based in London, Anita weaves together influences from African folklore, contemporary pop culture, and her own personal experiences to create evocative visual narratives. She holds a Fine Arts degree from Goldsmiths, University of London, and has exhibited her work internationally in venues including the Tate Modern, Zeitz MOCAA, and the LagosPhoto Festival.

Known for her bold use of color, intricate layering, and playful yet poignant symbolism, Anita’s practice often invites viewers to reconsider boundaries between tradition and innovation, self and society.
