Angela Rose is a multidisciplinary artist whose evocative work explores the intersections of memory, identity, and landscape. Born in 1988 in Asheville, North Carolina, Rose developed an early passion for visual storytelling, often blending traditional painting techniques with experimental mixed media and sculpture. After earning her BFA from the Savannah College of Art and Design, she spent several years traveling across the United States and Europe, drawing inspiration from both urban environments and remote natural settings.
Rose’s art has been exhibited in galleries from New York to Berlin, and her pieces are celebrated for their complex layers, textured surfaces, and emotionally resonant themes. In addition to solo exhibitions, she has participated in numerous artist residencies and collaborative installations, frequently addressing issues of sustainability and the evolving relationship between humans and their surroundings. Her recent work incorporates found materials and digital manipulation, pushing the boundaries of conventional artistic mediums.
Angela currently lives and works in Portland, Oregon, where she continues to challenge artistic norms and invites viewers to contemplate the stories embedded in everyday spaces.
