Andrey Kiritchenko

Andrey Kiritchenko is a renowned Ukrainian sound artist, musician, and curator recognized for his forward-thinking contributions to electronic and experimental music. Born in Kharkiv, Ukraine, Kiritchenko began his musical journey as a guitarist before immersing himself in the world of electronic sound in the late 1990s. Fusing elements of experimental electronics, microsound, glitch, and ambient, his work is distinguished by its meticulous detail, subtle textures, and emotionally evocative sonic landscapes.

Kiritchenko is not only a prolific solo artist, having released critically acclaimed albums on notable international labels such as Mille Plateaux, Ad Noiseam, and SPEKK, but also a dedicated collaborator, working with artists like Francisco López, Kim Cascone, and Zavoloka. Beyond his own musical output, he is the founder of Nexsound, a pioneering Ukrainian label that has championed innovative electronic music from Eastern Europe.
