André Baum

André Baum is a contemporary artist known for his evocative explorations of texture, color, and materiality across multiple mediums. Born in Lisbon, Portugal, Baum developed an early fascination with how environments and objects shape human experience, leading him to study fine arts at the University of Porto. His work often blurs the boundaries between painting and sculpture, incorporating found objects, layered pigments, and tactile surfaces that invite viewers to reconsider the familiar.
