An-T

An-T is a contemporary visual artist whose work traverses the boundaries between abstraction and figuration, delving deeply into the complexities of personal and collective memory. Born in Taipei and currently based in Berlin, An-T draws from influences spanning East Asian calligraphy, European modernism, and digital aesthetics. Their multi-disciplinary practice includes painting, installation, and experimental video, often exploring themes of migratory identity, urban landscapes, and technologized perception.

An-T’s distinctive style merges gestural mark-making with meticulous layering, resulting in works that invite viewers to navigate between chaos and harmony. Since receiving their MFA from Universität der Künste Berlin, An-T has exhibited internationally, including solo exhibitions in Paris, Taipei, and New York, and has participated in renowned group shows such as the Venice Biennale’s “Diasporic Currents” pavilion.
