Alex Garcia

Alex Garcia is a contemporary visual artist whose work explores the intersection of identity, culture, and urban environments. Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Garcia’s artistic practice draws deeply from their Cuban-American heritage and the vibrant multicultural influences of their hometown. After earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Rhode Island School of Design, Garcia returned to Miami, where their work began to reflect the dynamic pulse of the city’s street art, architecture, and diverse communities.

Garcia is known for employing mixed media, combining traditional painting techniques with digital art, photography, and found objects to create immersive installations and bold canvases that challenge viewers to reconsider notions of belonging and transformation. Garcia's art has been exhibited in major galleries across the United States and internationally, earning recognition for its thought-provoking commentary on migration, memory, and the complexities of contemporary urban life.
