Alex (ES)

Alex (ES) is a contemporary visual artist born in 1989 in Seville, Spain, whose multidisciplinary practice explores the intersections of memory, urban environments, and personal narratives. Raised in a culturally vibrant neighborhood, Alex absorbed the visual richness of Andalusian street art, which continues to inform the vibrant palette and dynamic forms prevalent in his work. After earning a Master’s degree in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona, Alex honed his craft through residencies in Berlin and Lisbon, where he began experimenting with unconventional materials and large-scale installations.

His distinctive style blends abstract expressionism with figurative elements, weaving together fragments of graffiti, collage, and found objects. Alex’s work has been exhibited extensively across Europe, including solo shows at the Centro de Arte Contemporáneo de Málaga and group exhibitions at Kunsthalle Wien and La Casa Encendida, Madrid.
