Adra

Adra is a dynamic contemporary artist known for her evocative mixed-media works that explore themes of identity, memory, and the passage of time. Born in 1992 in Mexico City, Adra was exposed early to a vibrant intersection of visual cultures, which profoundly shaped her artistic voice. She received her formal education at the National School of Painting, Sculpture and Printmaking "La Esmeralda," honing a multidisciplinary approach that integrates painting, collage, and installation.

Adra’s process is deeply intuitive, often repurposing found materials and personal ephemera, resulting in textured, layered pieces that invite close inspection. Her work has been featured in several group and solo exhibitions across Latin America and Europe, receiving recognition for its intimate storytelling and atmospheric resonance. Adra lives and works in Mexico City, where she continues to push the boundaries of narrative abstraction while engaging with the local artistic community through workshops and collaborative projects.
